About Solidicon
Solidicon is a leading software development company in the iGaming industry. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and player experience, we create unique and engaging games that set new standards in the market. We thrive on collaboration and creativity, fostering an environment where ideas become reality.
We’re a team of 26 dedicated professionals who combine deep experience with fresh perspectives to shape our success. Our vision – setting hearts racing around the world, one thrilling game at a time – drives us to create innovative and captivating gaming experiences. By pushing the boundaries of technology and creativity, we deliver unforgettable entertainment while staying agile, curious, and future-focused.
✨ About the role
We’re seeking a talented and versatile Senior Artist (or a skilled mid-level/junior) to join our creative team. In this role, you’ll contribute across the full art pipeline – from concept and modelling to animation, UI, and marketing visuals – helping bring new games and ideas to life.
You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and other artists to create high-quality, stylized visuals that enhance gameplay and player experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working broadly across disciplines and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where respect, openness, and shared ownership are key.
🎯 Key responsibilities
Design and produce 2D and 3D game assets, animations, UI, and VFX
Contribute to the visual development of new games and features from concept to final polish
Create marketing and branding materials, including visuals for events and campaigns
Support junior artists by offering feedback and mentorship when needed
Collaborate with developers to ensure assets are smoothly integrated into the game
Occasionally support other areas like sound, localization, and testing
Stay up to date with new tools, workflows, and creative approaches
✅ Key requirements
Strong portfolio demonstrating 2D and 3D skills, with a focus on stylized, non-realistic art
Proficiency in Photoshop and at least one 3D tool (e.g. Blender, Maya, ZBrush)
Solid understanding of animation principles and visual design fundamentals
Experience with the full art pipeline: modeling, skinning, animation, rendering
Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
Passion for games and visual storytelling
Open to exploring tools like AI to support creativity and workflow – without compromising artistic integrity
Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus)
Available to work from our office in Gothenburg
🌟 Nice-to-haves
These aren’t requirements, so don’t hesitate to apply even if you don’t check every box. That said, any of the following would be a great bonus:
At least 2 years of professional experience in a game development environment
Experience working with Spine or similar tools for 2D animation
Familiarity with the visual style, themes, and tone of casino or slot games
Previous involvement in branding or marketing initiatives – such as producing promotional visuals or event graphics
Interest in supporting other creative areas, like sound design or gameplay testing
🚀 What we offer
At Solidicon, you’ll join a workplace built on respect, collaboration, and shared creativity. We believe in empowering one another, making decisions together, and maintaining a positive, open atmosphere where ideas are always welcome, no matter how bold.
You’ll also enjoy:
Competitive salary and bonus program
Private health insurance and yearly health checkup
Paid parental leave
30 days of paid vacation
Generous pension plan
10,000 SEK annual education allowance
5,000 SEK wellness allowance

Regular afterworks, team lunches, and 1–2 company trips per year
